The Educational Research Alliance of Northern Virginia at George Mason University (ERA•NOVA) is a purposeful collaboration between The College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) and 20 public school divisions across Northern Virginia. While partnerships between universities and school systems have long existed in educational research, ERA•NOVA seeks a more equitable and productive partnership focused on consequential research driven by problems of practice. Unlike typically university-research endeavors, in this partnership, school systems are co-creators and collaborators of action research with CEHD faculty and researchers.
